Miki Wick-Kim is an expert in contemporary art with a career spanning over twenty-five years as a gallery owner and director, curator, author, and collection advisor. She holds a BFA with honors from Pratt Institute, New York, and went on to work for Coutts Contemporary Art Foundation Zurich, Galerie Lelong & Co., Galerie Edwynn Houk, and Pearl Lam Galleries Hong Kong. During her time at these organisations, Miki collaborated with or worked on assignments related to esteemed artists such as Dan Graham, Marlene Dumas, Ed Ruscha, the Estate of Ana Mendieta, Robert Motherwell, and Zhu Jinshi, among many others.

In 2006, Miki established Miki Wick-Kim Contemporary Art, initially as a gallery in Zurich with a vision to champion young Korean artists and introduce their work to a global audience. Since 2011, the gallery has evolved into a specialized art advisory service. Her 2012 publication, Korean Contemporary Art (Prestel), remains a definitive English-language resource on the subject.

Miki’s dedication to the transformative power of art as a shared experience is unwavering. Whether acquiring exceptional works for prestigious collections worldwide, offering strategic guidance on acquisitions, managing collections, or curating bespoke projects, Miki brings an astute, critical eye and a wealth of expertise honed over decades.
